    The Waterfront/Trans Canada Trail
    Part of the pedestrian trail that leads across the country, Burlington's part of the Trans Canada Trail leads for 23 km along the waterfront. There are points of interest and good vantage points of Lake Ontario along the way.

    LaSalle Park & Pavilion- LaSalle Park /North Shore
    This park and pavillion offers many activities, making it a great place to stay and play. Situated on a hilltop, the park offers views of Burlington Bay and LaSalle marina. Enjoy the wading pool, baseball diamonds, picnic areas, playground and nature trails. There is also a grand replica of the 1917 pavilion that stood on the site. A marina is located at the lower end of the park. The park's pavilion is available for special events, including catering and bar service.

    Bronte Creek Provincial Park

    Bronte Creek Provincial Park is a natural oasis situated between Burlington and Oakville. Camp overnight, go for a swim in the huge outdoor pool, explore the nature trails or take the kids to the Children's Farm to play with the animals and romp in the Playbarn.

    Spencer Smith Park - Lakeshore Road
    Located in Downtown Burlington, this popular park is a city treasure offering lake and beach views, a promenade, historical monuments, play area, willow grove and more. It is close to many shops, cafes and restaurants. The park was once owned by Joseph Brant, a Mohawk leader, when it was bestowed to him in recognition of his service to the British during the American Revolution.
